Ken Lacey

David grew up in lower Westchester County where he graduated from Ardsley High School in 2005. David then attended Penn State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2009. Soon after graduation, David joined a large city Police Department in 2011 where he currently works and holds the rank of Det. Lieutenant. In 2016, David decided to further his education by enrolling in an advanced degree program. David graduated in December of 2018 with a Master of Professional Studies degree in Homeland Security from Penn State University. In March 2019, David accepted a part-time position with the Town of Greenwich CT Health Department as the Town's Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. David has attended numerous training courses, seminars, and exercises in both the emergency management and law enforcement fields and has been featured on local news and radio publications as an expert in these areas.
Ken graduated from the Police Academy with David following a 10 year professional basketball career in Europe where he excelled in the Italian Serie A League. Upon his retirement from Professional sports, Ken found a career in Law Enforcement. Ken joined a large city Police Department in 2011 where he currently works and has attained the rank of Lieutenant. Ken currently works as the Commanding Officer of the Crime Control Strategies Unit. As a Lieutenant, Ken has coordinated Police response efforts to various emergency situations and has vast experience as an Incident Commander. Ken was also a member of the Department's School Safety Committee which is tasked with developing Emergency Preparedness and Action Plans for the local School District that have a specialization in Active Shooter Preparedness. Ken has attended numerous training courses, seminars, and exercises in both the emergency management and law enforcement fields. Ken is also completed the FBI Leeda Leadership Trilogy.
